Tomake cleaning easier,protect the oven bottom by (1) using large enough cookware to prevent boilovers; (2) place a piece of aluminum foil, that isslightly larger than the cookware, on the lower rack.NEVER place foildirectly on the oven bottom. Protectoven bottomagainst acidspills (milk,cheese, tomato, lemonjuice, etc.) or sugary spills (pie filling) as they may pit or discolor the oven bottom. For easier cleaning, oven bottomcan be removed and cleanedat the sink. Do not soak or immerse oven bottom in water or place under running water. Oven cavity � Continuous clean oven See page 19. Do not use paper towels, cloths, or spongesbecausetheovenwallsareporousandparticlesofthesernaterialswillruboffon the walls. Rinseareawith clean water only.Do not use any type of oven cleaner,cleanser or detergent on this surface. Clean oven interiorwithsoap and water; rinse. Usecleansing powdersor aplastic scouring padto remove stubborn soil.Wipe acid or sugar stains as soon asthe oven is cool as these stains may discolor or etch the porcelain. Donot use metallic securing padsasthey will scratch the porcelain.Tomakecleaning easier,place 1/2cup household ammoniain a shallow glass andleave ina cold ovenovernight.The ammoniafumes will help loosenthe burned on grease and food. Ovencleanerscan be used on the porcelain oven butfollow manufacturer's directions. If oven cleaner was used, thoroughly rinse oven cavity and capillarytube which islocated atthe top ofthe oven. Oven cleanerscan not be usedon the continuous cleaning oven finish. Cleanwith soapywater. Removestubborn soilwith cleansingpowderorsoapfilledscouring pad. Rinse and dry. NOTE: Ifracks become difficultto slide, athin coat ofvegetableoilonthe undersideofthe rack will make sliding easier.

� Soap and water I When surface is cool, clean with soap andwater; rinse, and dry. Use a window cleaner � Paste of baking soda and water and a soft cloth. � Non-abrasive plastic pad or sponge NOTE: Neveruse ovencleaners, abrasive or caustic liquid or powdered cleaning agents on plastic finishes. These cleaning agents will scratch or marr finish. NOTE: To prevent staining or discoloration, wipe up fat, grease or acid (tomato, lemon, vinegar, milk, fruit juice, marinade) immediately with a dry paper towel or cloth. * Soap and water � Soap and water � Paste of baking soda and water � Plastic scouring sponge or pad Wash with soap and water, rinse and dry. Do not remove door gasket. Clean, when cool, as necessarywithwarm soapywater. Rernovestubborn soil by scouringwitha non-abrasive plasticscouring padanda pasteof baking sodaand water.Clean portswith astraight pin. Donot enlargeor distortthe ports.Donot useawoodentoothpick. Itmay break offand clog port. Sealedsurface burners can not be removed bytheconsurner. NOTE:When cleaning around the surfaceburner,use care to preventdamage to the ignitor which is located at the back-side of each burner. If a cleaning cloth should catch the ignitor, it could damage or break it. Ifthe ignitor is damaged or broken, the surface burner will not light.
